Flying the Garmin 430 back tonight, I realized something. The little
plane icon can be pretty wrong in a crosswind situation. With a good
5-10 degrees of crosswind course correction, the airplane icon reflects
the ground track of the airplane, and can look quite wrong for the
heading. Makes me wonder about all those "pseudo HSIs" out there.
