My wife and I are probably about to have the ?joy? of building a home in an
airpark (a few details left to go on the land purchase). Besides paying attention to FAR part 77 (esp. 77.25) and the local covenants and building restrictions, are there other things we should know about that some of you experienced air park dwellers might be able to enlighten us about? Also, is there anyone who knows a good source of floor plans for a home with an integrated hanger built into/onto a slope? Does anyone have such plans that theyd be willing to share? Id rather not start from scratch with an architect - my past experience is that if I can show the architect a floor plan (not the blueprints) for something that is similar to what we want then we have a starting place from which to work. Unfortunately, none of the many house plan books we have address this situation. Don |
