I have a prospective pilot who is taking Luvox (an antidepressant in the
same class as Zoloft/Prozac/Paxil) for a minor depressive problem. She
wants to fly and is taking lessons.

There is no set time period to be off these medications to be eligible for
medicals. Does anyone have any specific experience with how long the FAA is
requiring someone to be off these meds before they will issue?
