Subject:	Reinforcing Cracked Aluminum With Fiberglass?

I have an aluminum nosebowl on a 1961 C210a thats cracked. Does anyone have
familiarity or success with reinforcing this type of crack (from behind)
with fiberglass? I ran into a mechanic who suggested I do just that. Will
fiberglass adhere to aluminum? Anyone know of someone in the north east who
is good with this kind of thing? Particularly someone with experience with
this type of repair (composite/aluminum).
