On the last two flights, we had a rough engine from the #3 cyl. in an O-360.
The legs were 2 1/2 hours long and the engine analyzer showed #3 egt dropped off the scale. It lasted for about 2 nervous minutes and it occurred at about 5,000 ft. while descending from 9,000 ft. Any thoughts? I tried mixture, fuel pump, etc. and dont know what cleaned it up but I dont like unexplained problems that mysteriously come and go. Maybe they dont go next time. -- Thx, {|;-) Victor J. (Jim) Osborne, Jr. VOsborne2@charter.net |
