So if I cruise at 20" and normally reduce to 15" then I have to start 75 minutes out? Youre nuts. I have a 6 channel CHT and have been able to watch the temps. There is no problem with holding 20 " until about 5 miles out and then reducing to 15" to fly the pattern. My CHT has a red light that will flash when ever any cylinder cool faster than 3 degrees per second, that is the amount recommended by Continental as the limit. I can not even reach that limit in the summer under any circumstances. |
