Greg, go for it big time. It will make you a pilot. Go to the IAC site at
http://www.iac.org (which happens to be down at the moment) and find the
section on aerobatic schools and flight instruction to find a competent
instructor and plane in your area. Be leery of instructors with low
aerobatic time (and no competition) and/or non-aerobatic capable aircraft.
You can also post to a news exploder there and get information and answers
from some of the best aerobatic pilots and instructors in the world.
