Our C140 is insured by Avemco, and our experience has been the opposite, despite the fact that the little wheel is at the *correct* end of our airplane ;-) We called them recently and told them that both Paul and myself had more than 100 in type, and that Jenny had got her ticket and tailwheel signoff.
