Australia is a great place to fly. Great weather, no massive mountain
ranges and an exchange rate that makes it really cheap.

My wife and I have decided to privately hire our Piper Arrow out to
responsible
private pilots for long term hire. The rates are US$36/hr (tacho, dry)
or US$60/hr (tacho, wet) + US$240/week.
This works out very cheap for more than 7 hours per week flying, which
is great for long trips.

Aircraft Details
Piper Arrow PA-28R-180 (Arrow 1)
Cruises at 140 kts (42lt/hr)
IFR, Airwork category
Takes 4 people and full fuel (182 lt)
Currently based in Melbourne

In addition, we can supply folding bikes and kids trailer along with
easy-to-use Australian flight planning software (with all the Australian
aviation charts included).
We can even provide a wealth of tourist recommendations because were
heading of on our fourth trip next week.

Best time to hire would be Jan 2001 +.

Pilot must be 28+, have 100hrs as PIC and 10hrs in Piper retractables.
