Subject:Getting back into flying???

I was in my 20s when I got my commercial-multi-instrument
ratings. Im now 45 and would like to start flying again. There
isnt alot of money available, I mean Im not about to go out
and get type rated in something, but I would like to find
something where I could fly for cheap. Volenteer or fill a need
somewhere. I would like to avoid being a flight instructor
because of my lack of experiance and the time required.
Any ideas or information you may have would be welcome.
Thanks.

PS- I have about 400 hours logged and live on Long Island, New
York. Thanks again.
