The airlines evidently want them, since Airbus actually has some
orders. But passengers ... now that Ive ridden twin-aisle aircraft I
would avoid even a 747.

Aero-News Propwash describes the new Boeing as the first of a new
generation of near-supersonic passenger aircraft. It also wonders if
the A380 will bankrupt Airbus.

It will be an interesting decade (or so) in commercial aviation.

Perhaps, but its good for passengers. If Europe wants to subsidizde
Americans on the grand tour, why should we object?
