Subject:	ByPass surgery and getting medical back, advice?

I just had bypass surgery 5 weeks ago and of course lost my 3rd class
medical. I have to wait 6 months until I get it back. Any advice as to
what documentation I need and how long its been taking? My surgery was
on Jan 30th (last significant event). Of course I am anxious to get it
back asap! In the mean time I am starting my instrument training.
Always need a pilot with you anyway for either lessons or practice so
