Doug,
We bought our daughter an earmuff headset, no speakers, that was about the same color green as the David Clarks she was used to seeing her mom or dad wearing when one of them was flying the airplane. The only thing her headset did was muffle sound, and, when she found that out, it was fun to play with. In the airplane she demanded "her" headset right away when she got into her childs seat. In flight she took it off very briefly, but made a horrible face when the increased noise and put the headset right back on. Only once as we got ready to start up did we have to tell her to wear the headset. Now that she is a teenager, she still keeps the original headset as a keepsake, and sometimes wears it in flight when she doesnt want to be bothered talking with her folks. All the best, Rick "Doug" > My kids probably would have chewed them up, if not eaten them whole. > > > Rick Durden wrote: > > > > > ...can start headsets by putting one into the childs toybox, preferably > > > the same color as the ones mom and dad use.
