I flew down. I wasnt quite sure what to expect on the approach, but it went
pretty well until the guy on final in front of me slowed down way too much
way too early, and I ended up s-turning like crazy to avoid running up his
ass. Kind-of weird to land on the runway with another plane still on it like
that, but its amazing how short a space you can put it down in when you
have to!

Parking was a litle chaotic, and I was amazed to see one guy pull off the
taxiway to try and sneak between to aircraft to an apparently open parking
space, only to hit the tail of one of the aircraft with his wingtip. Not
clever. Especially when he didnt just clip it -- he hit it with about a
foot or more of wing to spare. I bet the chap with the ding in his tail was
very pelase when he found out about the damage.

It was also fun to hear the approach controlling chewing out the idiots who
hadnt done their prep work. "Err, approach, can you tell me where the next
checkpoint is?" "Well, when you were having breakfast this morning, and
studying the procedure and your sectional, Im sure you saw it just fine!"
came the reply. Far too many people just turned up and ignored the rules and
wandered all over the place.
