Dont think so, unless it was in addition to the stuck exhaust valve. :-)

The very first move I made was full carb heat, and left it on long enough to
have found out. The pre-takeoff carb heat check was routine, with a noticable
RPM drop so I believe it wasnt carb ice. This "solid, steady miss" came on
RIGHT NOW, not a gradual loss of power associated with buildup of carb ice
