Help > stop it. > > Dave Reinhart > wa6ilt@amsat.org Well, Item #6 is one that I think that we can work on: (6) the TSA should require all GA aircraft to be secured in a locked hangar or secured by some type of physical device when unattended; One of GAs biggest shortcomings is the shortage of reasonably-priced hangar space -- especially in urban areas. With some effort, the GA community can put pressure on local airport authorities get off the dime and build hangars and offer them at a reasonable rate -- all in the name of "airport security." Maybe we can even get a subsidy fron TSA to get it done. Think about this one -- we can even advocate security measures that benefit us. |
