One of my best friends was killed by a drunk driver on I-55 in Illinois.

After rear-ending a car on HIS side of the freeway, the drunk careened over
the median wall, and sheared the top of my buddys car clean off. Basically
guillotined everything from the nipples up in the blink of an eye.
Hopefully he never knew what hit him.

It was the guys third or fourth offense. They had revoked his license, but
that didnt stop him.

Sometimes being careful isnt enough.
