Subject:Re: Building a Transponder Receiver

A couple of months ago I had a couple of close encounters that were traced
to a transponder that intermittently reported wrong altitude information. I
would like to know what altitude the transponders in the aircraft I fly are
reporting.

So basically, I want to build a little box that can receive the transponder
signal and displays the altitude. I also think that it would be interesting
to build it myself rather than go out and buy one.

Diego.
