If you can get a copy of a catalog from a company called
TekSupply, HTTP://WWW.TekSupply.com, they sell a product called TEKFOIL. And, on p-244+ of their catalog #692 is an example/show-n-tell of various application principles of this product including the under-concrete use (p-247). I do not plan on using this _type_ of product under concrete, but in walls and under roof of a Pre-Eng. metal building. I was told by the local vendor that the double-bubble is = to about 8-10" of fiberglass insulation. ->BUT<- this ins. requires a stand-off space/distance or it is not effective. So, call around to the various insulation peddlers in your area (as I did) and someone will steer you on to one that is familiar with your weather/soil/building-type/etc.. and can help you with your choices in bubble-foil insulation(s).
