I havent tried other units (Garmin or Magellan), but bought my
Airmap100 based on the reviews on AvWeb and others. I found it to be
very versatile with a total of 15 "Nav", "Map", and "Group" (combining
nav and maps into one display window). In fact, there might be too
many.

In addition to reading the reviews and ads, though, you might find it
more useful to look at the 100/300 (and others) manual thats
available online at:
