I have both Destination Direct and Jepp Flitestar. Both have pluses and
minuses (and either is probably fine). The charts are better integrated in
FS while DD has sectionals available at extra cost. The W&B looks better in
DD but both work fine (and give the same answer).

The vertical view is MUCH better in FS> DD just added it and it appears to
use the sectional max altitude as safe altitude which make is worthless. It
has me climbing to like 3000 ft to fly LWM to 6B6 (I usually use 1500)

Both get DUAT over an internet link (good because I gave away my modem) and
FS will overlay weather if you subscribe to their service.

I have not had FS long enough to make a final choice though.
