Anybody have any insight in the ability of the S-Tec System 20 Autopilot
(without the optional yaw damper) to compensate for the yaw instability of a V-tail Bonanza? I am concerned the autopilot, depending on how quickly it compensates for the yaw induced heading changes experienced by the aircraft in turbulence, the autopilot may set up a Dutch roll type situation requiring it to be turned off or overridden manually. Anyone have any insight? TRM |
