Ive not tried that, but from reading the info on the database disk I have,
apparently the database is linked to a particular GPS unit when installed.
Thereafter, you can only reload that database on that particular GPS.
This is much the same as how some software installations operated many years
back.

Again, Ive not tried it, but would be interested to hear from someone
who has.
