Denis, this is completely ridiculous. I am the sole proprietor of
Dauntless Software, and am based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. I use
true-blue american CFIs located throughout the country to help me with
content. Soon, I will be coming out with a new versions of the software.

Because dealing with credit cards is a complicated, expensive, and
time-consuming matter, I use a popular service that handles registrations
for me. They take a fee in exchange for handling the bulk of the details
of credit card processing and doing their best to screen me against fraud.
This service may well have an address in Hong Kong. I have gotten
mailings from them with addresses of Indiana and the UK as well. The
place is called swreg. I think they are registered as Hong Kong business
for tax purposes, but that is just a guess... I am one of hundreds upon
hundreds of vendors that they have.
