I think you may be encountering the changes in the flight model.. newer
versions include fuselage lift making lifting body designs possible.

You may now be seeing increase lift in the Marsjet and pitch instability due
to the fuselage lift and the CoG being screwed.

Best is to bug Austin and tell him to UPDATE the default aircraft with
X-Plane when he grows the flight model. A bit of a sore point as he very
seldom bother to even TEST the damn default planes when changing the flight
model to do something brand new and exciting.
