Subject:Skyraider for Sale

It is Sky Raider that weighs 240 lbs. empty! It is equiped with ASI,
Alt.
(w/kollsman window), EGT, CHT, hobbs, Tach., slip indicator, bungee
gear,
doors, windows, an extra strong lift strut to prevent buckling in the -g

condition, and it has differential ailerons to reduce adverse yaw and of

course folding wings. The engine is a Hirth F-33 (the reason it only
weighs
240 lbs.) with 25 hp. Hirth has a newer tuned exhaust for the F-33 that

will theoretically allow it to produce 30 hp. The engine is popular in
Europe, but has not had a lot of use in the States, yet. So, I can sell
the
airplane without the engine if you so desire. Right now it is painted
all
white so the final owner can add the personnal touch.

The engine is broken in and it has flown 3 times. But I could not fly
it
anymore because I am getting my masters of engineering in France for the

next 2 years. However, the airplane is in Idaho and it has a flatbed
trailer (the trailer is optional as well).

Pricing? Whats fair? A new kit with the options is about $9500 if I
am
correct although they might be having an airshow special. Im asking
$10,000 for the airplane (on account for the instruments, paint,
hardware,
mics.stuff that adds up) firewall back. Add $1000 for the engine and
add $800 for the trailor.

Also, the chromemoly steel is powdercoated. The original Skyraider was

254+ lbs with a 27hp Rotax 277. Mine is 240 lbs with 25hp with the
option
to upgrade to 30hp. Just remember, you can put big heavy engines in it,
but
the gross weight is limited to 510 lbs. on account of the spars
(4.4g+/2.2g-). It only has a 5 gal. fuel tank because it was meant to
be
part 103 legal. Which it is, which is RARE.
