sorry for shaking you guyss world but I often fly planes with NO gauges
whatsoever, and I am comfortable doing this with my planes , at my
field with Rotax engines,,,,,,,,,

the original writer said he would NOY FLY a two stroke without EGT
gauges, this is a pretty grandeous statement from someone who still has
not provided much info as to why he says that,

for example, you have flown a half hour away from home, and upon startup
to return, you notice neither EGT is reading at all,,,, I would fly
back and try to get the gauges working in the next couple of days,,, the
original writer would leave the plane, making plans for disasssembly and
hauling it back to his hangar ??????

I often fly without an ASI, a GPS, a Parachute, or any gauge whatsoever,
and have flown with bent tubes, spliced tubes, and it is my choice
based on the circumstances,,,,,,,,

I guess I would never say never !!!
