I dont know of one that has not crashed. Those who build them seem to
always be building and those who acually finish one usually get scared and
sell it before flying. So...First off...You cant build a safe helicopter
under 254lbs...too many moving parts...

Gyros are alittle better, but still an accident waiting to happen for
someone not very experienced with them. I saw someone decapitated a few
years ago when he screwed up the landing in a gyro and the rotor blades hit
the ground and came apart.

You should look into regular ULs...There are lots to choose from...Trikes,
fixed wing 3 axis, powered parachute, powered paraglider and probably 1 or 2
others that Im missing...
