If you own a Rotax from a 277 to a 618 ensure you have a functional and
calibrated EGT system (use a homemade jetcal) Keep the EGTs equal to 70 deg F on each cylinder and within 1200 deg F limits in the three previously discussed RPM regimes You might find the highest reading at a certain cruise RPM and the lowest on take off power. Avoid that RPM or shift your needles. Lawyers, Police and the Civil Aviation Authority dont bother ultralighters in my country. We have a national no fault accident policy, you cant sue for any injury. The state pays you a wage from employer levies. We have no death penalty. the country is clean and green like the US 100 yrs ago and the national aircraft register has the B22 (u/l) listed in the greater numbers than C172s. Hows that for paradise? Keep monitoring EGT and measure conrod end float every 10 hrs after 150 hrs TBO. Happy flying.
