Hi Folks,
Well, Im still on the ground. After a ridiculus amount of jetting changes Ive discovered that my PTO side is hot (1300 EGTs) and my mag side is rich. What could it be? AN AIR LEAK INTO THE pto CYLINDER? Theres some slight oil seepage out of the PTO side by the bearing also by the cylinder to case joint. Mikuni VM32, Stock Cuyuna exhaust. EGT probe on PTO side. 1300 EGTs. If I jet up, it bogs down and starts 4 strokin but the PTO egts are still up at 1250. I am as rich as can go and still run (both main and needle). Help me!!! I have found a nice rope to hang myself with in the corner of the hangar (so as not to disturb the others who are FLYING!). A very frustrated Jorge. |
