I work a lot of hours and lately I dont have much energy to write long
posts. The Afordaplane is a best a scaled up model airplane and at worst a
deathtrap. The single plane fuselage provides little structural rigidity
and the wings is worse. He has never gotten the dam thing off the ground I
suspect it wouldnt take much to fold it up in the air, if it did fly and he
has been selling plans for over a year. I stand by my earlier comment with
Mr. Kooyman in the roll of P.T. Barnum. If you want to see a really good
ultralight design, go to sky-tek.com and check out the Sparrow, yes its not
cheap but its not a dangerous piece of crap either.

Maybe I should design a plane and sell plans without ever making it fly. I
could make plenty off the suckers that buy the plans.

Anyway I dont have the time for this group anymore. Ive been putting in
50+ hours a week at the software company I work for and Ive decided to get
a larger plane than an ultralight.
