I have recently purchased an Aventura II. What I heard at the factory is
that they stopped making the Buccaner when they modified the hull to a more aerodynamic shape. I was also looking for a Buccanner when someone told me they were no longer made. The aventura by the way is an incredible easy flying machine, very, very forgiving I can tell you first hand. Just to give you an idea, in the beggining without much experience I forgot to turn the sump pump on and took off with 8 gallons of water in the back ,I had taxied for several minutes practicing take offs, when I did the CG was probably 6 aft the factory recommends the most being 3. I flew full stick forward until I landed safely 1 mile ahead. I tell you I will never forget the sump pump again. Good luck in your search. |
