If you want to calibrate the AS by a set standard then you need to use a
water column. Its pretty easy to do and Jim Weir of Kit Planes Magazine has
done articles on it. You can find an article about this on his web site...

Go to the articles section. there is one on AS calibration. The article
shows how to build the water column and also has a chart Hg to altitude...
