Be sure the gear is down for hard surface landings and wheels up for water
landings! Although, I have landed my Aventura HP wheels down in the water with no damage to the plane but it sure did stop fast! After a good walk around, I always give the wings an upward rock and watch the attachment tube for excess movement. I did have to replace 1 tube on the left side due to egged out through holes on the attachment tube where it slides into the bulkhead. Also check that the control wires are free on the tail wheel and not caught up in the attaching bracket. That can cause a steering problem both in the air and on the ground. Have fun in your float plane as I sure have lots of fun in mine! I even flew it to sun-N-fun a couple of times... Check our website at: www.buzzardsrow.com |
