I removed the primer bulb entirely from mine and now operate
only with a separate fuel primer. Even without the primer,
about 3 pulls on the rope will suck the fuel up the 30 inch
rise needed.

The fuel shutoff on this low mounted tank is unneeded and
a possible safety problem. You cant see it from the cockpit
and it could be accidently shutoff by spectators or luggage
straps or whatever. I lock mine open with a tie wrap.

A fuel shutoff is provided, but no sump or drain.

Unfortunately they do hard mount it on the frame, not the best,
but they have a very good engine mount which absorbs vibration
well.
