Subject:quicksilver MX, what to look for?

hello all,

I have run into a quicksilver mx for sale, priced rather reasonably. It
does, however, need new sails.

I have read a little about these things, and have come up with some
questions to ask/things to look for, anything ive missed?

What year was it made
what brand of engine does it have
any accidents? (inspect for damage)
(if there are any big points ive missed id love an education on the
subject!)

Id like 3 axis control, but im guessing that this is something im not
likely to run into on a plain-jane MX.

Is the quicksilver one of those ULs where the wing is best retired
after XXX hours of use?

Given that it needs sails and assuming it has the older hirth engine, what
is a plain jane MX in good shape worth?
