The reason I was more interested in the R1100 engine is that it comes
with fuel injection from the factory - much better performance at
altitude then the R100, and since I live at 6000Ft and plan to fly up
to 12000ft I need every horsepower I can get (and I do not want to wory
about the carb ice...)
I have found a couple of companies selling the conversion kits, but I
still cant find any information on its TBO time and performance in
the air.
