Some kind of ceramic set up I am told. I have never had one out of a 618 or the new blue head for that matter. The blue head does have the different cooling system which bypasses the radiator for fast warmups and full flow through the radiator when the temps start getting above 140 or so. I install a big radiator and let the proportioning valve control the temps. There is also full water flow at all times so no hot spots either. -- Mark Smith Tri-State Kite Sales http://www.trikite.com 1121 N Locust St Mt Vernon, IN 47620 mailto:mark@trikite.com |
