This is priceless!! I just checked out the latest Dreamwings news on
www.dreamwings.com Quoting from their site, with my own comments added:

"January 19, 2001 News Update

After much thought, we have decided to exhibit at Oshkosh this year, not at
Sun n Fun. We plan to display and fly all of our current production models"

"all of our current production models"?? What does this mean? These guys
havent produced their first complete kit yet. They only have a prototype
for one of their three proposed designs and they havent incorporated their
most recent design changes in a flying prototype

"and we hope that we can provide demonstration rides, as well. "

Maybe they will let an independent test pilot evaluate the design. Maybe
not.

"...(We are very concerned that nothing interferes with delivering airplanes
to our customers.) "

So far, failing to completely design a plane and build kits has prevented
these guys from delivering airplanes.

"Our first show was Oshkosh 98, and we showed up with two nonflying
prototypes. This time, we will show and fly state-of-the-art airplanes, the
results of three years of blood, sweat, and tears. Were going to have a
great time, and we hope that you will join us!"

"Blood, sweat, and tears" ....and deposits from over 100 anxious and naive
customers.
