Pretty bad!!! If you think training is expensive, check out the cost of ignorance! ;) Hehehe... but seriously Mike, a lot of folks let the simple appearance of an ultralight fool them into thinking that it would be a cake-walk to put something together from hardware store parts and go try it out to see if it will fly. Unfortunately the cost of failure is more than you would want to pay. If you want to build something for fun try RC planes before you build something that you will strap your butt into and commit aviation. On the other hand, if you seriously want to FLY, you can buy a used Quicksilver for a whole lot less money than it would cost you to build a viable ultralight from scratch. good luck, have fun, get some instruction, BE CAREFUL, Rick P. |
