No. At this time, the ONLY way you can fly fly a 2-place trainer is if
youre a BFI (or AFI) giving instruction, or, if youre flying it solo,
transporting it from one place to another, for instruction purposes.
(Or, for working on proficiency.) Dunno about where you are, but where
I am (San Antonio, TX) the FAA is really picky about 2-place trainers.
If you have any kind of an incident (even an off-field landing in some
farmers pasture), if youre not strictly legal, youre faced with a
pretty stiff fine. The rules may change when Sport Pilot becomes
official. Were all waiting for that.
