Reporting Bugs:

If you experience any problems, then please report them to smbaker@sb-software.com

Known Issues / Bugs:

  • "Network initialization failed". Users for version 2.1 or below will experience an error message: "Network initialization failed. Permission denied. File: C:\PDOXUSRS.NET Directory: C:\."

  • This bug has been fixed in version 2.2-beta-1, which you can download above.

Alternatively, you may also get version 2.1 to work by right-clicking the ForPilots logbook icon and selecting "Run as administrator".

  • "The system cannot find the file specified". An error message is sometimes emitted when using the preview and print commands. The error message is followed by a beep. The print will then commence normally.

This bug should be fixed in version 2.2-beta-2

  • Logbook file locations. Due to Vista file system virtualization and the "VirtualStore", the logbook data files are placed in the directory:

    c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\sb software\forpilots logbook\

this does not appear to affect software correctness, but it may be important for you to know the actual location of your files when backing up to CD-ROM or other media.
